Park Heights Place is a development of 83 affordable elderly apartments in the Park Heights neighborhood. The new four-story, T-shaped building offers one-bedroom apartments containing approximately 600 square feet, designed for senior citizens. Each apartment provides such standard features as central heat and air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room. The development also features a large community room, TV room, laundry facility, lounge, a wellness clinic and two outdoor patios for residents to enjoy.

Park Heights Place has brought new life to the surrounding neighbor-hood, as well as providing badly needed affordable elderly housing. It was built on land formerly occupied by a long term vacant Holiday Inn. Fifty-eight percent of the apartments are targeted to residents earning 40 percent or less of the area median income.
