2017 LOM EFFICIENCY PROGRAM

• Award will be given to LOM(s) that attains 100%

efficiency (if any) or the LOM that attains the

highest score if none of the LOMs attain 100%

efficiency (at least 90%).

• Certificate of Merit will be given to the LOM(s)

that attains 80% efficiency or above.

• For those LOMs that bid for the "Outstanding

Chapter of the Area Award" or the "Outstanding

Progressive LOM Award", the LOM must have

achieved at least 80% under the 2017 LOM

Efficiency Index in both areas,

1. “Administration” and

2. “Project Participation” + “Bonus Point”,

as of 1 August 2017.

Remarks:

-5The LOM’s efficiency index relating to the submission of Board Meeting minutes will commence from

November 2016. The adopted board meeting minutes for each month should be emailed to Chamber

Office staff ([email protected]) and c.c. to NRRD Team ([email protected]) before the end of next month.

Please note that a copy of November and December 2016 board meeting minutes must be submitted

before 31 January 2017. Thus, the maximum score for the year will be twelve (12) points if all Board

meeting minutes are submitted on time.

-8NOM Performance Evaluation Form will be emailed by NSG to LOM Presidents in June 2017.

-10LOM should submit 2 projects with 2 key project photos of each project and upload them to jci.cc on

or before 1 September 2017.

PROJECT PARTICIPATION

3Any reference to percentage on LOM’s Board of Directors will be based on the total number of directors with voting

rights as printed in the organization chart of the LOM in the Souvenir Program of the 2017 NOM Inaugural Ceremony.

For attendance taking purpose, sign-in will be required for NOM meetings and events, and registration will be closed

after 30 minutes of scheduled event start time.

For Joint Directors Meetings, in addition to the above sign-in policy, one LOM group photo will be taken on site with

designated props provided by the NRR team at a designated time slot. The photo then has to be sent to the National

Records and Recognition area via email ([email protected]) within one hour after meeting adjournment and will serve

as evidence of attendance for the NRR team.

4For the purposes of this program, the presence of the Acting President will be accepted as "President Present"

provided that the notice is served to NSG Priscilla Wan ([email protected] ) 3 days in advance of the meeting.

Please note that “Out-Town Notice” will not be treated as a formal notice of absence from the meeting.

Hosting NOM Project 19

Bonus point will be given to LOM after Project File is received. Please submit the Project

File to National Records and Recognition area ([email protected]) by email.

Cooperation with Government Bureau, District Office or District Council 13

Bonus point will be given to “Cooperation with Government Bureau, District Office or

District Council”. The counting will only cover projects that have been carried out before

30 November 2017. In this context, “cooperation” refers to the joint project with

Government Bureau, District Office or District Council, which means reasonable amount of

manpower and time have been contributed to jointly organize a project. Please submit

Project Report with evidence (e.g. supporting letter, event photo) to NRRD and c.c. to

NGLC and NSG.

Area Conference including Africa & Middle East, Americas, European and JCI Partnership

Summit but excluding ASPAC 16

Bonus point will be given to LOM for encouraging members to join Area Conferences

including Africa & Middle East, Americas, European and JCI Partnership Summit but

excluding ASPAC. Members who are on JCIHK Recognition List, except Chapter

President, will not be counted for EI.



NOM IA Reception 17

Bonus point will be given to LOM for attending NOM IA official reception for overseas

guests, for example, JCI President and JCI Vice-President.

Combo Power Workshop 18

Bonus point will be given to LOM for attending Combo Power Workshop. 2 extra points of

2017 EI will be awarded if there are at least 2 members from each chapter attending each

session of the Combo Power Workshop (both morning and afternoon sessions).

Hosting LOM Project to address UN SDGs 20

Bonus point will be given to LOM for encouraging LOM to address UN SDGs in their

projects. Proofs of UN SDGs logos on project promotional materials (e.g. banner, email,

backdrop) must be provided to National Records and Recognition area
