Awareness List (Also known as your TOMA list, or your email list) 

As a real estate agent, your TOMA list is your most important tool for building your business, so anything to help grow your TOMA is important. If you’re like me you have many Facebook friends but the only way you can contact them is through

Facebook.

Today what we’re going to show you is how you can sync your Facebook friends with your TOMA List using YAHOO! as a tool.

 

\The first thing you need to do is get a Yahoo email account. If you already have that, great! If not, it may be

worth signing up for a new account!Once you have your email account its easy to import your Facebook friends contact information into your

Yahoo account:

(NOTE: EVEN IF ONLY FOR THIS PURPOSE, IT IS WORTH SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT)

 

Go to the “Contacts” tab on the top of the page. Click on the “Import Your Contacts from Other Accounts to Yahoo”

and then that will give you the option to import your Facebook contacts.

It will then ask you if you want to “Share your contacts with Yahoo”

click “Yes”, and the import will start automatically.

Once you have all your Facebook contacts in Yahoo, it is easy to move them to your TOMA List and you can market and

communicate with them.

Make sure you take the time to organize your new names, because its important to keep emails focused and on target for our clients

needs.

Now that you have all of your facebook contacts in YAHOO!, you are ready to export Them into an EXCEL/CSV file.

Difficult? Not at all.

While still in Yahoo contacts, click on the Tools button

Choose export from the drop down menu

Choose Yahoo! CSV

YOU WILL GET A SPREADSHEET THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS

DELETE ALL COLUMNS EXCEPT “FIRST”, “LAST”, “EMAIL”

RENAME THE REMAINING COLUMNS – “FIRST NAME”. “LAST NAME”, ‘EMAIL ADDRESS”

Your new spreadsheet will look like this

Click File, “SAVE AS..” CHOOSE FOLDER, NAME FILE, SAVE AS A CSV FILE

Select your file and then click “next”

Click “IMPORT CONTACTS”

And VOILA!!.. YOUR FACEBOOK/YAHOO CONTACTS ARE NOW READY FOR C21 AUTOMATED EMAILS! (NEXT LESSON)
