Achieve More savingsThe Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) established their Prosecution College in 2004, in part to deliver e-learning in areas affecting their services – criminal prosecutions in an environment of fast-paced legislative change. A cost benefit analysis indicated they would experience savings of over £100,000 per year in their Equality and Diversity programme alone.

Six years later, working with Edvantage group, the Prosecution College has expanded their offerings to include 64 programmes comprised of 240 modules and over 100 hours of e-learning. Programmes cover substantial content not only in legal training, but also management skills and business support.

Achieve More compliance As a regulated business, Virgin Atlantic Airways trains its employees to the highest standards. Virgin Atlantic partnered with Edvantage group and re-examined the way learning was designed, developed and distributed. All of the learners and content from the existing systems were moved to Learning Gateway, learning management system. Web Services were used to bridge Learning Gateway with their Oracle HR platform, reducing data entry and providing users with a single-sign on service.

To further increase efficiency, the L&D team at Virgin Atlantic began to develop basic e-learning courses in-house and only outsource select courses to other learning providers. Virgin Atlantic chose the CourseBuilder authoring tool, and Edvantage group’s instructional design specialists helped get them started with workshops on content development.
