The Fujikura 21S mid-range fusion splicer uses active cladding alignment to provideexcellent low loss splice results. The splicer’s two-camera observation systemdelivers accurate fiber alignment and loss estimation calculations. With moveablev-grooves, splicing errors caused by dust and other contaminants are eliminated.

The compact Fujikura 21S fusion splicer also features removable sheath clamps anda large 4.7” LCD monitor. The battery provides power for up to 200 splice cycles withapplication of the splice protection sleeve. The Fujikura 21S is fully compatible withAFL’s FuseConnect® fusion spliced field installable connectors. Software updates areavailable via the Internet.
