he team was owned by Dr .J.B martin and his brother

Dr .B.B martin.

he two brothers where dentist and J.B also worked

in a drug store and funeral home.

because of there 32 games loss.

ne of the Memphis hall of famer was verdell Mathis, he was the

best pitcher in negro leagues in 1940 he was born in 1914 and

died 1998.

athis pitched in three east – west all star games.

V

erdell toured with Paige's all star versus bob fellers all-star

in1946.

aite Hoyt was the other hall of famer the Memphis red socks had he

was born in 1899 and died in 1984.

oyt was a right hand pitcher in major leagues baseball.

est pitcher for new York that decade.

e was included in the hall of fame in 1969.

Marlin carter, Neil Robinson, Larry brown.

Marlin carter was an infielder who played in 1932-51.

Neil Robinson was an left fielder and 3base his career was 1934-

50.

Larry brown was an pitcher for Memphis red socks.
