The main contractor on this project awarded Terre Armée France the contract for the design, supply and technical assistance of these Reinforced Earth® structures. The Solution For this project, Terre Armée France provided TerraClass® panels and steel reinforcement strips and, prior to the construction, checked the overall stability of the slopes and the soil. Technical assistance was also part of the contract. Construction works began in March 2007 and were completed in July 2007. The Advantages The two 24 m high Reinforced Earth® true abutments were associated to two 35 metres long isostatics decks for a total area of almost 4 000 m² of TerraClass® facings.
