But what about our pets? Guadalupe Carpio, East Wenatchee, sent us this photo of Copo, her Australian Cattle Dog mix languishing on the sofa because the air conditioning best hits her there. Ironically, Copo means “snowflake” in Spanish. We shared this photo and asked our Facebook friends to submit photos of their pets keeping cool. Dina Rodriguez Shaw: On Sunday, my dog found a puddle to cool off in at the park Jan Flatten: Here is a picture of our Cody “coping” with the heat today on his 8th birthday. Jan hiked up Mission Ridge with Cody and her two other Australian Shepherds. Carmen Dupuis: It’s Hot, So We Just Hang In The Pool Playing With Donuts. This is Breezy, (a fitting name since we live in Ellensburg) a 2 year old Border Collie.
