    Debriefing

A proper debriefing conducted under tactical or trainingconditions is an important part of a flight. Under tacticalconditions, debriefing is a primary source of information leadingto the location of targets, distribution of troops, and many otherimportant considerations. An outline should be followed forproper debriefing and should contain all the items for briefing, plus the following:1. All unusual circumstances encountered.2. Discrepancies arising which do not conform to an

established doctrine.3. Following an AMCM flight, the mission commander is

required to debrief the crew on procedures and unusualcircumstances encountered. This is to improve crewcoordination and gain information which can be used formore effective procedures.

    4. The mission commander on an AMCM flight is alsoresponsible for completing an AMCM tactical brief formwith the following information:a. Mine detonation itinerary.b. Total flight time.c. Total tow time.d. Total operational tow time.e. Total time in field.f. Total laps by track.g. Total mines detonated.h. Additional remarks (detailed information pertaining to

AMCM equipment malfunction and unusualcircumstances encountered).
