A fantastic 80s-modern open world with horror & sci-fi twists. Will you survive and save the town? There is plenty of hardware available to help - flame throwers, rocket launchers, fire extinguishers, flare guns, chainsaws, salt shell shotguns, baseball bats, TNT, bombs, laser blasters, plasma rifles, crowbars, axes and water pistols (!)

Each one is built around a specific game genre and style, which includes 2D and 3D, top down shooters, isometric levels, FPS games. Each one features familiar settings and mechanics, with plenty of secrets, Easter Eggs and specials.

Arcade Machines The following machines are planned:

Nuclear World Side-on jetpack equipped blaster – destroy enemies in a post-apocalyptic world and avoid dynamic scenery and obstacles.

Influences: Forgotten Worlds.

Ghosts & Monsters Monster slaying, armoured Knight style.

Influences: Ghosts’n Goblins, Black Tiger, Ghouls’n Ghosts.

We are considering also adding one or two more C64 and ZX Spectrum games, or adding NES games.

New Movies These additional 2D and 3D movies are planned:

Terror in Japan Dark haired, ghoulish women and horrific children. Set within a large mansion house or possibly a flat block in Japan.

This will be a 3D section in the style of Silent Hill, Siren, Fatal Frame, dark and oppressive, with the player using torch light to see, with some puzzle solving and combat.

The Demons Top down 2D movie, set within an abandoned funeral parlour and nearby wooden shack, where an evil mirror has opened a portal to hell! Battle demons and possessed townsfolk.

Influences: Night of the Demons, Demons and The Evil Dead.

Welcome to Hell Top down 2D movie. The player has been sucked into Hell itself and must fight the twisted denizens of Hell and find a way back to Earth.

Influences: Hellraiser.

THEY CAME FROM BEYOND 12

There are many additions and tweaks planned for the main game world and story. We will build up the alien presence as you start to rescue more of the missing kids.

The aliens will respond to the rescues by sending more and deadlier enemies to control the townsfolk and to try and stop your daring rescue attempts.

• More interaction, everywhere – such as swinging on the swings, delivering newspapers, and many more little quests and jobs

• Expand the character roster and add a larger narrative • Increase alien influence as you progress, with townsfolk becoming mind-controlled – requiring the

player to cure them • Ramp up enemy presence and creatures in the main world to fight • Pets! Well, specifically dogs – starting with Spencer’s mini-dachshund, George, who follows him

everywhere (unless it is dinner time!) • Girl character - a secondary player animation set will be created for Spencer’s sister, Holly, allowing

the player to choose to be a girl or a boy at the beginning of the game • Improve the inventory and make more intuitive

Additional Main Areas The main world will also be expanded with the following additional areas:

Secret Military Base An underground facility where you can find cool weapons and power-ups, and more game discs/VHS videos. A little Area-51-ish, with secret alien artefacts and specimens.

Backwoods Country & second Town Away from the main areas, where the shrubs are overgrown, and the houses and barns are damaged and unkempt. Here the player will encounter a scary clan of misfits and crazies, all controlled by the Glukh.

An additional second town will also be created, more in the style of a West Coast old-fashioned US town, an example of which would be Elko in Nevada. This will include new shops, residents and lots more secret areas.

Alien Spaceship The final showdown with the Glukh aliens will take place on their scary alien spaceship! Elements of Giger’s Alien style design, combined with wackier stuff such as Mars Attacks, along with some classic Terminator refences.

In addition to game specific additions and content, we will also implement a full Achievement/Trophy system, various controller configuration options and an extensive auto-save system.

We also need to finalize some of the game audio tracks, and source new ones for the additional content and features.
