a quick look at buffer's new connectivity to pinterest
TRANSCRIPT
Take advantage of all the great things already in Buffer such as app integrations and browser extensions.
Then create a posting schedule the way you would any other account and you’re ready to go.
Connect to Pinterest the same way you connect any other account.
Pinterest in Buffer
See more detail in our blog post here.
It took us less than 10 minutes to get connected and get our initial schedule configured!
Pinterest doesn’t allow redirected or shortened URLs for the image source. Disable any link

Pinning From Buffer
Select Pinterest for a post
Select a board to post to
Buffer can only post to one board at a
time. In fact, Buffer will often block you if you try to create the exact post a second
time.
1. Drag an image for the board onto the post, or browse to find one.
2. Then add the source URL, and type text to go with your image.
3. Finally schedule the post just like any other post in in Buffer.

Tailwind made their name on analytics.
Tailwind’s app and browser extension make posting and content curation as easy as Buffer.
Buffer’s post analytics are as good as Tailwinds at surfacing repins, comments, and likes.
When you get beyond per-post analytics, Tailwind really shines.
Comparison between Buffer and Tailwind
• We recently purchased an annual Tailwind Plus subscription, but if Buffer had released this update 2 months ago we would have gone with Buffer and used Pinterest Analytics.
• We'd like to use Buffer for scheduling and post analytics, but would be reluctant to give up Tailwind's analytics.
• We would like integration similar to the one SocialBro and Buffer have for Twitter. We could use Buffer for scheduling, and Tailwind for more detailed analysis and posting schedule configuration.
