what can we do?In an effort to spread more awareness and in practising what we preach, Jurassica has spearheaded several new initiatives.

First off is the “Save our Planet Program” with Hi-5. Jurassica has recruited Hi-5 — the popular preschool edutainment pop group — as ambassadors for “Jurassica’s Save Our Planet Program”, in hopes of echoing the message of planet conservation to a global audience. Apart from creating awareness, 10% of Hi-5 merchandise sales goes towards planet conservation causes.

Our newly launched initiative is the “Unplastic Program”. With the consumption of plastic at an all time high, we decided to help out. Visitors may redeem one FREE ticket when they bring in 30 plastic bottles to Jurassica. The plastic bottles will then be used for workshops and recycled in the proper manner.

Jurassica partnered with the Malaysian Nature Society to offer various educational talks and seminars to help cultivate a more aware younger generation. The Malaysian Nature Society is an integral part of the Malaysian institution; working closely with the government, bringing the conservation voice to Malaysia’s decision-making and planning platforms. The partnership with Jurassica only propels the cause further.

Curated to your syllabus

Jurassica has the privilege of being partnered with various environmental organisations. This multitude of resources allows us to customise a talk or presentation that complements your school syllabus. The Malaysian Nature Society will aid in the curation of customised talks and activities which suit your school’s need upon your request.

ABout jurassicaWe stand for planet conservation and serve as a platform for topics of that gravity. However, we want to appeal to a mass public. So, we merged dinosaurs with education.

Jurassica is a one-of-a-kind indoor interactive dinosaur-themed park that resides in The Gardens Mall Kuala Lumpur, a premium 6-level shopping haven. Sprawled across 15,000 sq feet of prime real estate, visitors walk through a specially constructed rotating time vortex and come face-to-face with fearsome colossal animatronic dinosaurs like the infamous T-Rex and herbivorous Triceratops.

JOURNEY BACK IN TIMEOur catalytic, temporal-magnetic-vortex-time-displacer transports you back to the Mesozoic Era to face a mission critical task that will save the earth from its 6th extinction.

MISSION CRITICAL TASK: NEON LIT SCAVENGER HUNT

Using Data Extraction RFID bands, Earth Cadets must go back in time to collect prehistoric flora, fauna and dinosaur DNA to study, research, predict and prevent the extinction of our own plants and animal life on earth.

Cadets will recover prehistoric plants that are capable of trapping and storing greenhouse gasses more efficiently than our modern trees. Collect Dino DNA to study how prehistoric reptiles withstood such harsh conditions. And collect prehistoric fauna to study, understand and adapt our modern day animals into surviving climatic changes.

RACE-A-THEROPOD, ZIP LINE & INTERACTIVE CLIMBING

THREE ACTION PACKED ACTIVITIES THAT WILL GIVE OUR EARTH CADETS AN ADRENALIN RUSH. Built to test agility and speed, these attractions will be timed and awarded points that will be stored in the Data Extraction RFID Band.

Reptile zoneResearch has shown that our modern day reptiles and amphibians evolved from prehistoric reptiles from over 295 MILLION YEARS. What’s even more surprising is that even mammals and birds are descendants of these prehistoric giants.

Our reptile zone is a 45 foot space with specially designed habitats for reptiles from various climatic backgrounds. Here, cadets will be educated on evolution and preservation of these creatures.

Come take a look at the Mata Mata Turtle, Saflin Dragon, Milk Snake and more in KL’s largest reptile conservatory. And if you’re brave enough, we even have reptiles that can be handled by kids.

Jurassic GymAn active 3-storey, free play area that towers at 5 meters with an ERUPTING VOLCANO, SHOOTING AREA, EXCAVATION SITE and hours of cadet appropriate fun. The excavation site allows cadets to uncover hidden fossils.

DESIGN-A-DINORecreate the most ferocious, toothsome, psychedelic Jurassica dinosaur in our design-a-dino room. Watch as your dinosaur comes to life in a sea of other prehistoric beasts.

Cretaceous CampHere, cadets will enjoy a captivating briefing by qualified speakers. The periodically scheduled interactive talks will touch on topics such as:

• Preserving the ecosystem

• Extinction Phenomenon

• Evolution of Animals

• Conservation of endangered animals

• And several other collaborative talks by environmental NGOs.

Some talks will be conducted by expert zoologists allowing visitors to pet and learn more about reptiles. The Cretaceous Camp will also double as a party area when needed.

Prize & Redemption counterEach activity completed and fossil collected, points will be awarded to Earth Cadets. These points can be exchanged for prizes at the redemption counter or collected and used on the next visit for an even greater prize.
