Preparations

• Measure the forward and return path frequency response

• Chose forward and return path that gives the best performance regarding loss, noise and interference

• Measure the TV channels levels to check the system performance before Multilet installation

• If you need to upgrade the system do this before Multilet installation




System Calculations

• Keep same level of downstream signal as the TV channels. Min level to MIO 63 dBuV.

• Calculate the return attenuation as a normal TV channel. Max transmission level of MIO is 108 dBuV. Min input level to MAS is 63 dBuV.

• Do not FORGET to include a margin.
