2013 F150 Crew Cab continues to make a popping noise in engine brea. It started about S months after I had purchased vehicle and is not normal engine sound. The dealer is now saying this is normal and I do not agree that a popping noise that started after 4 months of ownership is acceptable. I did not pay 30K+ for a truck to have an engine popping sound.

I have spoken to McLarty Ford many times outside of the Serviced times that was being performed and they have always treated me with respect and they understand my concern. I believe that this vehicle is not well made and the craftsmanship is not up to ford specifications. Have always driven a Ford and have purchased at least 9 new Ford vehicles throughout my life and have never had any issues until now with this current one,

Re: F150 Ford Lemon. Law Requirement
To Whom it may concern,
I am writing this email concerning a new Ford Vehicle / purchased at McLarty Ford in Texarkana, TX on 26 April 2014. The vehicle that! purchased is a 2013 Ford F150 VIN: 552.130 color black and was brand new. This truck began making a popping sound
from the engine area arounfd the 7500 mile mark and was auditable every once in a while once the truck was driven and warmed up. It continued to happen more and more often and at the 9l2 mile reading I took the vehicle in to the Mclarty Ford Dealership to be worked on and fixed only to be told there was no problem.
I called dealership a few days later and stated that it was still making the noise, so one night after work I drove into the dealership after work and sat there with vehicle running making the popping noise. The mechanics and then the service manager heard the noise and cold not figure it our but stated it maybe a converter. They said they would keep vehicle and the Ford Engineer would be in the area to take a look at the vehicle. They had the vehicle 13-17 Oct 2014 and ended up replacing a turbocharger and said it was fixed. T ask what the Technical Representative said and they stated that the engineer did not elect to look at this issue.
A week later I called and stated it did not fix the problem, so 1 took the vehicle back in and believe they replaced converter on the 26 November 2014 and again the Dealer service department stated the vehicle was fixed.
In early January the noise continued and I called and set up another appointment and the vehicle was turned over again to service department 13 January 2015 and was kept until 21 January 2015. Again the dealer states they fixed the problem by replacing right side cat converter assembly. I drove the truck from the dealer and when I got home the truck was again making the popping noise from the engine compartment.
I later called the dealer and a person at the dealership stated that the popping noise was now recognized as normal with this make and engine model (EcoBoost) I stated to the person how that can be since it was not making the noise from the very beginning and if I would of known that this was normal I would not have bought this vehicle. Just because something is becoming relevant in a piece of equipment does not make it normal, back when I was a little younger we called it "Broken" and we fixed the equipment.
