What is the Common European Framework
A Common European Framework for teacher’s professional development describes the profile of a teacher operating effectively within the knowledge society.
It provides the basis for:
Elaboration of syllabi on ICT for education; Harmonization of existing national programs or initiatives; Curriculum guidelines; Examinations, materials, textbooks, etc. Enhanced transparency in courses, syllabi and qualifications, thus
promoting international co-operation and mobility
