INSS – the National Social Security Institute of Angola is the institution responsible for the payments to pensioners across the country.

The institute has to ensure a series of monthly procedures and activities, from registration, data validation, approvals and payments.

With Sequence implementation, many of these tasks have become automated by being integrated with the database system.

Automatic processing ensures control and data transparency.

Sequence enables integration with any other systems and platforms, through a range of generic connectors such as web services, database listeners, among others. Besides those, it has specifi c connectors for integration with SAP and CRM Dynamics.

Sequence allows a developer to add a functionality using an API which extends and customizes Sequence classes.

The Municipality of Caraguatatuba implemented Sequence to auto-mate its municipal Ombudsman.

Sequence currently manages the Citizen’s Information and Complaints Management System among 17 de-partments in the City Hall, with a total of 1,600 workers.

Sequence registers more than 100 cases per month, for a population of 110,000 inhabitants.

The deployment of Sequence al-lowed to optimize the monitoring of each process.

The biggest benefi t was access to real-time complaints’ information and monitor responses from each Department.

CASE STUDYCASE STUDYeSPAP – the Portuguese En-tity of Shared Services with the Public Administration uses Sequence since 2007, having strengthened its commitment to this software in 2012 .

eSPAP has 40 processes run-ning on Sequence in the areas of Human Resources and Fi-nance and is already planning to extend Sequence to manage 30 additional processes.

eSPAP highlights the benefits achieved with Sequence implementation and its ability to integrate with many other systems already used by the organization, such as SAP.

This is one of the examples of Se-quence’s adaptability to any area of an organization.

Sequence is currently managing HR and Finance processes in more than 450 public entities and 550,000 workers.

One of the more recent process implementations allowed eSPAP to save more than 5.5 million euros.

FGC - the Credit Guarantee Fund of Angola, with an initial 100 million dollars fund, provides credit guarantees under a national program issued by the Government of Angola, called Angola Invest.

To meet this challenge, LBC developed a system in Sequence that runs through the whole procedure from application to credit granting decision.

This system involves data reg-istration, integration, decision points, alerts and a detailed and updated control of all processes.

Nowadays, FGC has an efficient, fast and secure system that analyses 15-20 credit guarantee requests each month.
