Steering Committee Decisions Endorsed in-principle the structure and contents of the National Road Safety Strategy 2018-2030 and National Road Safety Action Plan 2018-2022
MoC to establish a campaign committee to coordinate the implementation of a National Road Safety Awareness Campaign targeting helmet wearing.
Endorsed the implementation of a National Road Safety awareness raising campaign and helmet wearing campaign
Approved renaming of Committee as the “National Steering Committee for Road Safety Actions in Pakistan”.
Approval to fund Rs. 15 million for meeting part of establishment and first four years of operation of the National Road Safety Secretariat to fund professional staff under the leadership of an Executive Director appointed at level of Jt. Secretary from the Road Safety fund.

15th Road Safety Working Group Meeting
The 15th RSWG meeting was held on 7th
March, 2018. It was attended byrepresentatives from NH&MP, NHA,MoC, MoNHSR and ADB.

The TA team is supporting the NHA to integrate its engineering project activities with Pakistan-
RAP.The TA team will host a 5 day training course for the NHA
