STYLE SHEET

I have chosen these colours for my advergame as they are very bright in your face and as its for children bright colours will be good to use as they light bright things. I think they fit well as they are just the main colours you think of they is no colours the children wont recognize. These fonts of ‘Dafont’ are what I may use in my advergame, I have chosen these fonts as they are clear enough to see, the children will be able to read what it says, by using clean fonts the children will build confidence in been able to read what it says and will learn them at the same time.

LAYOUT 1

I have chosen these few images off the internet to show how I want it to look as a final advergame, the insects at the bottom of the screen are what you have to try and collect all of the coins, the ladybird what you can see flying towards the coins is just to show you what the aim is. You can see all the colours that I picked for the colour scheme, I have used all of the colours, I have also gone with one of the fonts that I picked out on ‘DaFont’ I went with this font because I think it is a very fun font to go with as this game is for children.

LAYOUT 2

I have done a few sketches here of how I want my characters, props, background ect to look like, I used the grid paper to create these as one square equals one pixel making it easy for me to plan how I’m going to make the characters look. I coloured them in also so you can see what type of colours I will be using, I have also drawn the font I want to use, its not the best but its just so you can see where I want everything placed and how I want it to look like in pixels.

LAYOUT 3

Here is just a idea of how I would want my app icon to look like when I create it, I want just one of the characters used bigger on the left hand side with the name of the game ‘it’s a bugs life’ across the top on the icon.

It’s a bugs life

CONTINGENCY PLANNINGPotential Issue Solution

The computer that I was going to be using may not be working.

Make sure they is other computers I can use if this happens.

The computer may not have the editing program I need to create my advergame.

Make sure my computer has the programs I need or find a computer that does.

I might not be able to find a suitable sound track for the game.

Look at other games and get ideas or even take the sound track off another game or make your own.

I might not be able to create one of my character, props ect because of the pixels.

Find another thing you can use for your character, props or try and figure a way around it.

I might make a mistake whilst creating my advergame.

Always keep an eye out and make sure it’s how you want it before leaving it. You can always use the step back button if you make a mistake.

I might not reach my deadline in time.  If I fall behind, do things at home, study days or when I have free time.

HEALTH AND SAFETYPotential Issue How will the issue

be avoided? Strain on eyes when working on the computer.

 Remember to take breaks regularly.

Don’t spill food an drink near or on the computer.

Take a break so you can have something to eat and drink.

Your back may start to hurt.  Take a break go for a walk. Or adjust your chair and the way you are sat.

The screen may be to bright and start to give you a headache.

Turn the brightness down, take a break.

The computer may over heat. Take regular break, change computers.
