Case study on last mile deliveryAs e-commerce continues to grow rapidly, last mile delivery is undergoing significant changes that pose a great challenge for retailers, service providers and urban areas. How must businesses adapt to meet new customer demands such as same-hour delivery for high quality fresh food? How can this be managed while keeping costs under control? What role can governments have in developing urban areas and business together? Will there be more urban warehouses in the future? Using a real-world case study, you and your team will examine the solutions and develop a concept for last mile delivery for a fictitious com-pany. Experienced consultants from 4flow will be there to individually coach you and your team.

Timeline and prizesThe competition will begin on April 15, 2020 when the case study task is presented. Teams will have until May 3, 2020 to submit their results and the competition will end on June 12, 2020 when the winners are announced. Among the highlights of the three-day finals held at 4flow’s head-quarters in Berlin, Germany, will be an exclusive visit to a distribution center of a leading retail company.

Registration ends on March 18, 2020.
