“Doe meer met log files!”

• Promotieonderzoek (op artikelen) 2005-2011

• Hoe ziet een raamwerk eruit voor een e-learning omgeving die in real-time adaptief is voor de individuele kijk- en leerstijlen van studenten maar tegelijkertijd ook inpasbaar is in een IT-architectuur van het onderwijs?

• Startpunt en leidraad zijn log files geweest, in dit geval van een Streaming Media Server– platform Apollo : eindrapportage Streaming Video (2004)

• Hanzehogeschool Groningen, de Universiteit van Tilburg, de Avans Hogeschool en de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen

• 1: Interactiemomenten met de (Windows) Media Player: geven dus entries in de log files

• 2: Meting opgenomen met een eye tracker– Totaalbeeld van het leerproces (audio, video, muis,

ogen, omgeving)– Interview, gelijk na de opdracht, met studenten over

hun leerproces (retrospective think aloud)

Voorbeeld van een log file:

• Er zijn nog meer velden die worden vastgelegd dan deze vijf.

• Deze (vier in dit geval) events zijn samen een zgn. kijkscenario van een persoon (ip-adres)
