I used this tool to blemish her skin

I turned the exposure right down to turn the photo black and white

I then used this tool to create a path around her to make the background whiter and leave her darker like in the photo I tried to recreate.

I then adjusted the vibrance and saturation to adjust the brightness to make one side of the face lighter like in the photo I tried to recreate.

I then adjusted the levels on the graph to make one side of the face even darker and one side even lighter.
