Reservation from the Post-secondary Education Commission of Georgia, which allows YBU to officially simulate a “University” and use “University” as part

of our organization’s name.

We are a relevant comprehensive youth organization simulating a "University" designed to educate, elevate, empower, encourage, energize, engage, enrich, equip,

and expand today's global youth.

Our motto is “to train and develop future CEO’s, executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, motivational

speakers, spiritual leaders, community activists, financial advisers, doctors, scientists,

engineers, technologists, artists, mathematicians, politicians, college and professional athletes, and

leaders with a global mindset”

Our "Main Focus" includes concentrating on serving the needs of "ALL YOUTH" including youth from low to

high income families seeking life opportunities, traditionally underrepresented and underserved

youth, youth with a high risk for academic failure, youth who are in foster care or who are aging out of the foster care system, disconnected youth, youth

from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree, homeless youth, youth at-risk,

youth living in single parent homes, youth growing up in poverty, youth coping with parental

incarceration, disabled youth, youth in a gang, and special needs youth.

Since 2012, Youth Business University has provided scholarships to YBU students attending Agnes Scott College, Bard College, Jackson State University, Oglethorpe University, and Valdosta State University. As a result of YBU receiving grants from CarMax, Munich Re, Wells Fargo, and individual donors in 2014, our total scholarship allocation was $650. Two YBU students who are in college and who are actively involved in YBU community service initiatives recently received a $250 YBU “Royal King” Scholarship.
