The Premiere has set clear targets for all schools across NSW and the aim is to provide all children with one of the finest education systems in the world. Kinder Transition Thank you to all parents for attending the Kinder Orientation Parent Information Session. I hope all students and parents are keen for school next year and feel a little less anxious. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Please tell anyone you may know living in our area and have school age children for 2020 that enrolments are still open. Orientation Day Orientation Day for Year 6 going to Year 7 will be held on Tuesday 3rd December. All students are keen and excited. They will be visiting South Campus and involved in a variety of activities with a BBQ lunch. Inclement Weather he health of our staff and students are very important and with the recent weather, mixed with the drought taking its toll, please be mindful that we may have to make decisions to cancel outdoor activities if advised to do so. 2020 School Leaders The nominations process for School Leaders will be completed this week. Children will vote and the top two candidates will be Captain and the next two will be Vice Captain These four nominations will be the leaders of the school in 2020 regardless of gender. Last Day of School Celebration The students will engage in a fun activity on the last day of school and I would like to thank the P&C for fully funding every student to be able to participate in this celebration. The P&C work tirelessly to ensure that the students of Wongarbon Public School have the added extras and they contribute to school life substantially. Please feel free to join the P&C in 2020 as all the money raised goes to support your children. to meet these little people! We were just bubbling with excitement

    Year 6 Farewell The Year 6 Farewell will be held on Tuesday 10th December. Thank you to Mrs Farley and the Yr 5 parents for co-ordinating the food and assisting with clean up at the end. Any help would be appreciated. Please contact Mrs Farley at the school if you are willing to help. Thank you. School Presentation Evening School Presentation night will be held Tuesday December 17 to celebrate the achievements of students of Wongarbon Public School. All Year 6 students will be farewelled officially, along with new 2020 Captains and Vice Captains announcement. All students MUST be in full summer uniform. The evening gets underway at 7pm in our community hall. A gold coin donation for entry and hamper raffle tickets will be available at the door. All welcome. Regards

    Special Letter Next week every child should take home a letter addressed to their parents.

    If you have not received this VERY IMPORTANT letter then please phone Michelle, our Administration Manager, at the school office to discover its contents.

    This is very important leading up to the end of the school year, so please read the letters or contact Mrs Dunn.

    to be returned Mrs Farley is very keen to have the school library completely stocked and ordered ready for the start of 2020. Please return all outstanding books to the school library as soon as possible.
