Group activity :1. Teacher will ask the pupils to
form a group of 5.2. Teacher will give 2 empty
boxes and some flashcards of things to each group.
3. The pupils will be asked to discriminate the flashcards whether it’s a living things or non living things.
4. The teacher will ask what are the characteristics for living things.

Application of idea (10 minutes)
Questioning Activity 11. Teacher will ask the pupils to go
outside of the classroom and jot down on a piece of paper what living things and non living things they have seen for 5 minutes.
2. Teacher will show a powerpoint presentation on living things and non living things that might have around the school.
3. From the presentation teachers and pupils will discuss whether they have categorized it correctly or not.
