Events: Building relationships has always been one of the tenets of the NMIADA. In New Mexico, a face to face meeting can create a life long customer. NMIADA hosts events during the course of the year that give your marketing team solid opportunities to get in front of New Mexico’s best auto dealers and give you exclusive moment to sell your service or product. We offer monthly opportunities with our Pre-Licensing Education classes, Continuing Education seminars, seasonal events and of course our annual convention.

The NMIADA Media Planner is the most effective way to

With nearly half of all New Mexico higher volume dealers being members of the association, your brand will have a distinct advantage in reaching those performing dealerships from across the state. Scholarship: The NMIADA Scholarship program was started in 2017 as a way for its dealer members to directly support their dealer community. Members contribute by renewing their membership with a portion of their dues going to support the Scholarship Program, and by their purchases at the NMIADA eStore. The NMI-ADA also accepts donations from dealers and sponsor members.

eMedia: NMIADA has aggressively expanded it’s digital presence and abilities to deliver the latest in news, offers, and instruction to our members across the state. We offer several platforms where your company’s value message can be digi-tally sent, shared, and understood at lightning speed. Advertising digitally with the NMIADA allows your brand to get in front of your target audience with our “click-through” web banners, email campaigns., and social media outreach. We also have the capability to create and compose ads for your company if your company doesn't have the capability.

2020 NMIADA Annual Convention—October 15th Our annual convention and expo is the largest Auto Industry Convention in the State. With 1000 dealers required to take Continuing Education the majority of New Mexico Independent Auto Dealers will be interacting with NMIADA.com, NMIADA Digital, and attending the Expo, the annual convention is a must for any auto industry related business to be a part of the New Mexico market. In 2017 the NMIADA started it’s Scholarship Fund to

help dependents of NMIADA members fulfill their

educational aspirations. What started as a $5000

scholarship has manifested to a $17,000 scholarship!

And still growing! The awards have gone to deserving

future leaders of our state. The scholarship program

is funded by member contributions through dues and

donations, but also from vendors like you.

Your participation at Casino Night not only supports

the Scholarship Fund but also sends a strong mes-

sage to New Mexico Dealers that you are invested in

it’s young people’s future. We hope to see you there!

Last year we had 90 dealers and 25 of our vendors

attending our evening reception. This year the theme

will be Night at the Casino Royale!

This will be a fun opportunity to interact with dealers

from all around New Mexico and industry vendors

while having a Royale time at a gaming table.

Pre-Licensing Education

This class is mandatory for all prospective dealers looking to become licensed in the state, making this is a perfect opportunity to start your relationship early with new car dealers. We introduce your representative to the class after the lunch break and give you 10 to 15 min to introduce your Company, what it does, and why your service is important to them.

In addition to our annual convention, we hold several state mandated and community building events that have space

for vendors to participate in as well as sponsor. This a great way to have a one on one time with your target audience.

PLE and Continuing Education kits are printed study-aid material that new and veteran auto dealers use during the

their classes. We allot space for Vendors to place Flyers, Sell Sheets and Coupons in these kits. This is a cost effective

way to get a physical “ In Hand” message to your market.

This class is held the second Tuesday of every month in our office. The state of New Mexico requires an 8-hour Pre-Licensing class in order to apply for a Dealer’s License.

In 2019 we had a total of 141 PLE students of which 89 (63.12%) have become licensed dealers and this number will increase. On average 8 students out of each class becomes licensed. It takes an average of 3 months from the time they take the class to be-come a licensed dealer.

The state of New Mexico requires a 4-hour Continuing Education be taken yearly now, this became effec-tive on July 1, 2019. All independent dealers must take the class in order to renew their dealers license.

With every dealer in New Mexico having to go to www.NMIADA.com to register for PLE or Continuing Education as well as ordering dealer supplies and forms, the NMIADA website is only seeing its online traffic in-crease. This advertising tool is an excellent way to have your company’s value message updated and current through the course of the year. Banner ads run for 3, 6, and 12 months subscriptions in 3 sizes: Home Page Slider, our Regular Banner that can be affixed to any page on the site, and our Side Page Banner that is a small horizontal oriented on either the left or right side of any page. Click-through is supported with proper URL you provide. These can be updated to corre-spond to any banner change at the subscribers request. We support Gif, PNG, Bitmap, or jpeg formats only. Video content available with your YouTube link, along with a 50-word block to describe your company’s mission and value statement. The 50 word block can (with proper URL) contain a link to a corresponding page.

In our lobby we have 1,500 dealers pass though our waiting area on a monthly basis and our Large Screen TV

NMIADA Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Program that was launched in 2018, awarded 5 recipients scholarships of

$1000.00 to dependents of dealer members. In 2019 we awarded $12k to 5 recipients.
