ABBA Fab is the product of the hit Broadway musical,Mama Mia. Group founders, Terry and Anne, saw anopportunity to capitalize on the renewed interest in themusic of ABBA. The result was the creation of thegroup ABBA Fab. As the show gained popularity, book-ing requests began pouring in from towns all acrossArizona and California.Since ABBA Fab’s early days the show’s growth hasbeen exponential. The group has since gone globalthanks to Bramson Entertainment, which has themtouring with several of the world’s premier cruise lines.While ABBA Fab continues to perform for internationalaudiences across the seven seas, their engagementsat home in Arizona remain a cornerstone of their suc-cess and popularity.ABBA Fab has played to sold-out crowds across theU.S. as well as internationally. Among their notablecredits are performances at the opening of the ABBAMuseum in Stockholm, Sweden, the world-renownedSpago Beverly Hills, and the Navy Shipyards inChicago.

This exciting clas-sical crossover ensemble features the lush voices ofsoprano Erin Shields and baritone Giuseppe Spole-tini, as well as the versatile and virtuosic David Shen-ton on piano and violin.O Sole Trio's shows are both touching and humorous,breathing new life into familiar favorites with theirunique and innovative arrangements. Their show,Heart & Sole, celebrates love and life, reimaginingwell-known pop, classical and musical theater fa-vorites, including Journey's Open Arms (in English andItalian), a Latin grooved O sole mio and a stunningversion of the classic song, Edelweiss.

Eighty years ago “a group of local music teachers andmusic lovers had a dream to bring musical artists toRedding so that they and their students could have thepriceless opportunity of seeing and hearing trained andsuccessful musicians” – David R. Marr, charter mem-ber. This continues to be our mission today as we pre-pare to celebrate our 80th Season.

Weʼll kick off the year with a Saturday gala featuringABBA Fab, a sensational tribute to the pop phenome-non that swept the world in the 1970ʼs and continues toappeal to audiences today with catchy tunes like Wa-terloo, Mama Mia and Dancing Queen. Next up isKevin Spirtas, Broadway, film and TV star, with Nightand Days a program of Broadway songs and stories ofhis career on and off the set. From a sold-out CarnegieHall debut to the Cascade Theatre, O Sole Trio, a clas-sical crossover trio–soprano, baritone and virtuosic pi-anist/violinist–will breathe new life into their show Heart& Sole, which includes Journeyʼs Open Arms, a Latingrooved O Sole Mio and a stunning version of Edel-weiss. Two on Tap concludes the season with gor-geous vocals, exciting choreography and uniquemusical arrangements. This duo breathes new life intoclassic song-and-dance.

Continuing to feed this enthusiasm for our Fine Arts En-richment programs is a top priority for the Shasta Liveboard. Futuristic Illusionist Adam Trent will completethis season with a captivating magic show for the stu-dents. Next season, three presentations, Kevin Spir-tas, O Sole Trio and Two On Tap, will entertain,enlighten and delight the student audiences.

TWO ON TAP marks the creative collaborationof celebrated musical theatre performersMelissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano. Since de-buting in February 2010, TWO ON TAP has en-tertained tens of thousands at theatricalconcerts across the USA, gala events, andheadline performances onboard luxury cruiseliners. Heralded by presenters and critics, TWO ONTAP aims to breathe new life into classic song-and-dance with clever arrangements, a mean-ingful connection to the audience, and excitinghigh-energy routines. Recent accomplish-ments include multiple appearances at the Na-tional World War II Museum in New Orleans,headline spots on Queen Mary 2’s historictransatlantic route, and multiple communityconcert tours including over 100 cities through-out the Midwestern and Mountain states.
