CONCERNING AWS PDH’s REMINDER for our members who need to have PDH’s (Personal Development Hours) for their 9 year CWI certification renewal. Starting NOW, District 19, BC Section, will be offering PDH’s where technical presentations that cover one or more areas as specified in AWS B5.1 are given, as per QC1:2016, 16.5.2. PDH’s will be credited based upon each contact hour of activity consisting of not less than 50 mins of instruction or presentation. A maximum of 40 hours can be accepted for the individual’s renewal through this method. A meeting announcement and certificate of completion indicating the number of contact hours for the activity or presentation will be signed by the Section chair or other officer ‐ the individual will be responsible for submitting all documents for their renewal.
