Shooting at Parliament
On October 22, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, attacked Parliament Hill in Ottawa. He shot and killed Corporal Nathan Cirillo, a solider standing guard at the national war memorial before continuing on inside the Centre Block parliament building. He was shot by the sergeant at Arms, Kevin Vickers.

M370 was an international passenger flight that left Malaysia on March 8th, 2014 and was supposed to land in China on the same day. The plane disappeared after its last contact with air traffic control, an hour into the flight. The plane is still missing and the 239 people aboard the flight are presumed dead.

Robin Williams committed suicide on August 11th, 2014. He was 63 years old. He suffered from Lewy Body dementia, which was misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s Disease. This was seen as a contributing factor in his suicide.
