Okanogan Country boastsseveral snowmobile clubs andorganizations to assistsnowmobilers.

They include:Bonaparte

Snowmobile/ATV Club.Promotes safe snowmobilingand ATV use and works withthe Forest Service to keepareas open for winterrecreation; family oriented.Club gives a scholarship eachyear, holds fund-raisers andevents. Meets at 10 a.m. firstSunday of the month atBonaparte Lake Resort.Information: Mike Sterling,president, 509-486-2277.

Butte BustersSnowmobile Club. Meetsthird Wednesday of themonth during winter.

Ferry County Searchand Rescue. Assists lawenforcement, responds topeople in distress.Information: Steve Anthes,509-779-4117.

Republic Tree BendersSnowmobile Club. Meets
