Taronga Zoo is home to fascinating Australian creatures and exotic animals against the backdrop of the world’s
most beautiful harbour. An action-packed timetable of 20 free keeper shows and talks, gives you and your family
an enthralling opportunity to enjoy and learn about our amazing animals. With breathtaking harbour views and
more than 3000 animals in more than 50 exhibits, wildlife will never be closer than at Taronga Zoo. Don’t forget
to check out Taronga’s new Wild Ropes, the ultimate treetop adventure challenge. Kids, Santa will be on the con-
cert lawns handing out lollies if you’ve been good!
With more than 3 square kilometres of wild and wonderful bushland, Taronga Western Plains Zoo is home to
over 700 exotic and endangered species such as black rhinos, Sumatran tigers, Asian and African elephants and
giraffes, and offers a safari adventure right in the heart of NSW. Stroll across the grasslands, hire bikes or cart,
or enjoy a leisurely drive through the zoo in your private car. It’s an exciting and unique experience in a relax-
ing environment. Tickets for this venue are valid for two consecutive days; Sunday 1 December and
Monday 2 December.
WET‘N’WILD SYDNEY (NEW VENUE) Wet'n'Wild Sydney features amazing world first attractions, interactive ride technology and
takes fun to a whole new level for the entire family. Wet'n'Wild Sydney is the biggest’n’best
water theme park and home to a never before seen range of slides and attractions including
heart pumping thrills on the world's tallest double Sky Coaster and the best beach ever with
white sandy shores and no rips or sharks. With over 40 slides and attractions including a whole
zone dedicated to little water adventurers and adrenalin pumping action on some the tallest and
fastest water rides in the world, it’s so much more than a water park.
Dare to enter the Funnel Web’s lair; ride the Funnel Web or go for something a
bit more tame, head over to Banjo’s Billabong, a 4 storey aqua play area with a
huge tipping water bucket. Fun for all ages. There’s plenty of other popular water
attractions too; The Taipan, Outback Bay, 2.5 mega litre wave pool, Rapid River,
Billabong Beach, Surf Hill—8 lane aqua racer, The Rock and Splash out water
slides. Don’t forget the chairlift, bobsleds and mini golf. There’s so much to do at

Which venue can I choose from?
You need to pay your October 2014 dues early! Venues are
limited and might sell out. Pick up your tickets at the Union
office. You will need your OK card and if your partner is
collecting on your behalf, they will need your OK card and
their photo ID as well. To make it fair for everyone, tickets will
not be issued at the venue on the day nor will they be
delivered by organisers or delegates.
I wonder what I need to do
to get my tickets?
Financial members get 5 tickets for their family to attend.
Tickets are $2 each for all venues except Wet’n’Wild $5 each.
Additional tickets are $25 each for all venues except Wet’n’Wild
which are $30 each, you can buy as many as you require .
If you have more than 3 children in the family and can show this
on a Medicare card, additional tickets will be reduced to $2 (or
$5 for Wet’n’Wild) each.
How many tickets can I get, how much are
they, can I buy extras?
Yes! You’re entitled to 2 tickets each if you are a:
* LIFE MEMBER
* RETIRED MEMBER
* CONCESSION RATE MEMBER (fee paying only)
* APPRENTICE
I’m on reduced rates,
can I still get tickets?
You can pick up tickets from: Monday 18th August 9am—5pm,
Monday to Friday at the following CFMEU offices:
Lidcombe: 12 Railway St, Lidcombe
City office: Level 11, 276 Pitt St, Sydney
Wollongong: Level 1, 1 Lowden Square, Wollongong

OK, what offices can I collect tickets
from? When are they open?
There will be no exchange of tickets so choose carefully! All venues operate on the day no matter what the weather.
There is some important information for some venues to consider, see below for details:
Food and beverages are not permitted to be taken into Wet’n’Wild, however there will be discounts on park food for wrist band holders on the day.
Children 3 years and under do NOT need a ticket for Taronga Zoo, Western Plains Zoo, Jamberoo and Wet’n’Wild
Children 2 years and under do NOT need a ticket for the Reptile Park.
Great, sounds good. What else do I need to know?
Australian Reptile Park (Central Coast): Located an easy 30 mins drive from the Wahroonga on-ramp and 1 hour from Newcastle on the F3. Just 2
mins from the Gosford exit and Reptile Park is easy to find—just follow the signs.
Taronga Zoo (Mosman): The quickest and easiest way to get to Taronga Zoo is by public transport. The Zoo is located 12 mins from
Circular Quay by ferry (departing every 30 mins) or a short bus trip from Wynyard station.
Taronga Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo): Only an hour by air from Sydney (154 flights to Dubbo Airport a week) or a five to six hour drive or travel
by CountryLink XPT from the heart of Sydney to the wide-open plains of central NSW.
Wet ’n’ Wild (Prospect): Wet’n’Wild Sydney is located at 427 Reservoir Road, Prospect. Located just off the M4 the park can be accessed from
the East via Prospect Highway Exit or from the West via Reservoir Road Exit.
Jamberoo Action Park (south of Wollongong): Follow the F6 to Wollongong. 20 mins south, turn right at the first
roundabout at Princes Hwy at Albion Park onto Illawarra Hwy. Follow the signs to Jamberoo Action Park (10 mins).
