Ops-Core continues the pursuit of excellence in 2013 with both new products and improved versions of existing battle

proven designs. In keeping with our founding vision, we have continued to refine our suite of solutions to provide the

modern warfighter with the best equipment for every mission. Our focus ranges from fielding the lightest integrated

helmets in the world to providing holistic headborne systems with the most protective coverage and situational

awareness. Ops-Core reliability and durability is now going on its fifth year, and while that may not be as exciting

as smoke and mirror presentations by some competitors, our products perform where it matters most - in the field.

Our helmet portfolio has been expanded with new ballistic material options to give customers more choices between

types of threat protection, weight and price. The different shell versions use the same liners, retention and integrationcomponents to maintain compatibility with their lineage as well as existing and future accessories. This not only

helps operators match the best equipment with their needs, but it also allows programs to outfit more personnel

with the right equipment in various duty positions while keeping within budgetary and logistic constraints.

Improvements in hear-through communications technology and ballistic visor performance have resulted from

leveraging synergies with our parent company, Gentex. Their production support has also helped us reduce lead

times for standard products from over six months to less than three. There is still more work to be done, but with a

current production capacity of 1,800 helmets / week, we are committed to getting our customers their orders faster

and with less hassle than ever before. In 2013 we will be measuring our performance not only by our products, but

also by our service to those who have loyally supported us over the years.

OPS-CORE USES PROPER ANTHROPOMETRICS AND GEOMETRYTO COMFORTABLY FIT AND STABILIZE THE HELMET O N THE HEAD

Ops-Cores Occ-Dial helmet liner system eatures an adjustable tband with

integrated chinstrap and repositionable multi-thickness impact pads.The tband

allows the user to properly adjust the liner around the perimeter o the head or

a customized t and optimal comort.The length,width and overall shape can

be set by simply turning the dial,while the helmet depth can be adjusted by the

vertical setting o the whole system.Together,these eatures ensure a correct

and stable t, per individual user,and enable the helmet to support the weight

o the equipment and endure moment orces during the demanding and lengthy

military operations.

The liner system is also compatible with a variety o communication headsets

and hearing protection devices,including headband style COMMs.For use with

COMMs,the headband slides under the liner tband and sits in between the

two top impact pads,eliminating pressure points commonly experienced when

wearing traditional liner systems.The impact pads are designed and pre-molded

to the shape o the head.The materials used in pad construction are not aected

by temperature,moisture or altitude.

The Lux Liner is a revolutionary suspension system that combines a one-piece ull coverage impact layer

with modular,breathable comort pads that can be customized and repositioned or comort without

aecting impact perormance.

The Lux Liner retrots the FAST Ballistic High Cut and Maritime Helmets and is available in two variati ons:

with a low prole Worm-Dial tband,or with H-Nape Head-Loc chinstrap.Both systems utilize the same

impact layer.The Liner is easy to install into FAST helmets using the existing Velcro pattern in the shells and

The patented Head-Loc Retention System has a unique strap geometry that creates

straight orce lines to evenly distribute the helmet load on the head.This design gets

rid o any slack in the straps that causes instability and slipping problems in all other

conventional chinstraps,which can be detrimental to the mission at hand.

The Ops-Core system utilizes Head-Loc Sliders that provide on-the-fy,one-handed

adjustment and eliminate loose ends,while keeping the chinstrap low prole,lightweight

and snag ree.This adjustment is especially important when wearing NVGs or conducting

rigorous physical activities.Tightening the chinstrap stabilizes the helmet without the

need or counterweights or other bulky devices,acilitating a high perormance head-

borne platorm.

Understanding CoverageTraditional methods or determining the amount o prot ective coverage a helmet provides are based on calculating the exterior surace area o the helmet shell.This approach can be misleading when comparing

dierent helmet shapes because a larger helmet surace area does not necessarily mean more head coverage area.We use standardized computer modeling techniques to project a line-o-sight shadowrom the

helmet onto the largest headorm or a given helmet size.The surace area o this shadow is then measured to yield the true amount o the head that is actually protected, yielding an accurate representation o
