    Weihai, a prefecture-level city of Shandong province, located in the eastern end of ShandongPeninsula, is one of the national top 40 investment- favor cities and top 50 cities ranked by thecomprehensive economic strength. In 1984, it opened to the outside world together with the first batchofChinas coastal cities. In January 1999, it was selected as Chinas Excellent Tourism City. In 2011,Weihai ranked the fourth among 17 prefecture-level cities in the test about the development level of

    About Weihai City Weihai Economic and TechnologicalDevelopment ZoneWeihai Economic and Technological Development Zone is located at the east endof Shandong Peninsula, surrounded by the sea on three sides and one sideconnected with the inland.
