I could not be more thrilled to be chairing the Programming Committee again for the tenth Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival; now the biggest and best of its kind anywhere in the world. This is of course fantastic, but gives me a lot to live up to! I’m confident that this year we have put together a programme to make any crime fiction lover salivate like Hannibal Lecter at a plateful of braised banker. From those who like their crime cosy as crumpets, to those who prefer meat that is a little bloodier, there is a feast for everyone. So, tuck in…
