develop their employability skills whilst at

university.

What will the students do?Students will access the e-learning module via their tablets or phones to explore a virtual campus. They will participate in a series of interactive activities such as quizzes, video and animation to explore the core aspects of university life.

Additional support from the Education Support Unit may be available for neighbourhood and feeder schools.

Ideally the module will be used as blended learning in the classroom by careers advisors and personal tutors however, students may also complete the course individually.

The *AccessAbility Project

The *AccessAbility Project is a disability and diversity (includes dyslexia and

autistic spectrums; mental health difficulties; and long-term health conditions) focused initiative at the University of Greenwich which provides information and guidance to disabled and diverse students who are considering a university education. The STAART Project will be available from July 2016 onwards for disabled and diverse students who have accepted a place on any of our campuses for a September 2016 start or are local disabled students who are considering university in the future (from Year 11 onwards). The STAART Project has been developed over a number of years following a number of pilot projects.

The STAART Project has a variety of support mechanisms in place. Students can opt to take part in any or all of the following:

• Access to the open

*AccessAbility Facebook or Twitter

accounts.

• STAART Transition days

• Scheduled workshops and catchups on

designated weekdays and Saturdays

through until July 2017.

• Disabled students registered with the

University can access the closed

Facebook groups.

The *AccessAbility Ambassadors are also available to deliver workshops in local schools and colleges.
