LIBRARY NEWS

The library has been experimenting with adding AUDIO BOOKS to our system for almost a year now, and in recent months there seems to be a growing interest. We’d like to continue to expand our inventory by soliciting donations of AUDIO books from Landmark residents. If you are now buying AUDIO books because of vision problems or to hear a great story while driving or washing the dishes, please consider recycling these by sharing with your neighbors. We currently have many AUDIO books on hand by the same popular authors you’ve come to enjoy in printed form. These are located in the “Paperback Room” in the back of the library and are being checked out on a honor system basis.

JAZZ LOVERS For several of our parties we have been entertained by a husband and wife duo named Punch and Judy. Les (Punch) is at home playing and singing a variety of musical styles and instruments. Judy, comes from a musical professional family. She has a four octave range and is at ease in all styles of music. They bring musical talents together to make our events an enjoyable occasion. Wear It Well

SAVE THOSE NEWSPAPERS!!! Several of our volunteer recyclers have reported finding papers being thrown in the dumpsters. If you have a housekeeper, caregiver or family member taking out your trash or are a new resident we would like to remind you about our paper bins located next to the dumpsters. The money derived from this project comes back into the Landmark, which in turn helps to keep our expenses down and keeps paper out of our landfills.

Thank You, The Recyclers P.S. We Need Volunteers! Call Art Wolff at
