2 Timothy 4:1-4I charge you therefore before God and the Lord

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” – John 6:35

“The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” - John 6:41

Does This Style Work?Some doubt the style, too direct, too harsh.It worked for 3,000 people – Acts 2:41

This style can have amazing results, but also amazing consequences.

“When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth…ran at him…cast him out of the city…stoned him.” – Acts 7:51-58

Caution # 1Can be easily abused and used for hatredEvery example showed the speaker LOVED the

crowd and that’s why they spoke the truthDoctors don’t tell family members that their

loved ones have died because they want to see them cry, but because they have to speak the truth.

“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt…” – Colossians 4:6

Caution # 2This is not the only evangelism style

Those with this style tend to think all people should have this style

Caution # 3If this is not your style, remember, it is the

style of some Christians.

Do not discourage confrontational evangelists through your own fear and discomfort

Let us all speak the truthWithout the fear of the
