OUTLINE- TO PROTECT PUBLIC WORSHIP- “The Place of Prayer”- - Definitions of Prayer• Supplications – there is a wanting, a need• Prayer/s – a supplication to a superior• Intercession/s-on behalf of others• Thanksgiving-gratitude of the petitioner

I. Prayer must be an essential part of public worship – vs.1, 2

II. Prayer to be maintained as such that we may continue with freedom our witness and worship – v.2-8

That we may freely proclaim the message of salvation-v.5

That preachers may continue their works –v.7
