Hi, we are excited to introduce you to the first BAM Alumni Newsletter! Its a brand new experience for BAM, alumni like you, and me, the 2015 Alumni Relations Manager (ARM). The newsletter is designed to update the alumni with the current events related to BAM. You should expect to see highlights of BAM meetings, BAMily, and other events that we host or participate in. Also, for each newsletter, there will be a featured board member, member, or alumni. It will always end with reminders of upcoming events that alumni can take note of. Platinum Fast Track was BAMs first featured event of the year. Being planned by the Vice President of Corporate Relations, Anna Mirkin, it took place on Thursday, February 12th. In addition to our sponsors: EY, General Mills, KPMG, Target, Travelers and United Health Group, 36 students attended the event and learned about professional development topics.

The 1st BAMily: Protect the Egg. Given limited resources, members were asked to build the most creative and protective shell for their eggs, which were tested by being dropped at different heights. (This semester, BAMily is held on a bi-weekly basis.)

For the Angel Benefit Concert this year, BAM will work with Habitat for Humanity. You might have heard of them before, or even worked on one of their builds. Many exciting things have already happened, in terms of ABC planning. The committee leads have just been notified: Weisberg Teddy Design

We officially moved out the great hall in Coffman. You are invited to come to the Profile Event Center on University Avenue on April 23rd, Thursday and support BAM at the alumni table!

Upcoming: Angel Benefit Concert Featured Board Member

Indu Damodar, the 2015 secretary is a freshman at Carlson majoring in MIS and Finance. She got involved with BAM this past fall as a Trick-Can-Treat committee lead. Being on the board, she hopes to reach out to potential members for BAM and develop meaningful connections with them. Also: Upcoming community service projects for alumni and current members. Invitations will be sent out via Email. Annual alumni social in the summer.
