1.  Open  any  web  browser  and  go  to  www.schoology.com.  2.  Click  on  “Get  Started”  in  the  upper  right  hand  corner  of  that  page  (orange  arrow  in  the  picture  below)  

 

   

 3.  On  the  new  window  that  opens,  click  on  the  orange  text  on  the  left  had  side  that  says  “Click  here”  under  the  large  orange  button  (blue  arrow  in  the  picture  below)  

     

 

4.  On  the  new  screen,  click  the  small  gray  button  that  says  “Parent”  (purple  arrow  in  the  picture  below)  

     

5.  Enter  the  access  code  provided  to  you  by  your  child’s  teacher  in  the  text  box  (green  arrow  in  the  picture  below).    The  code  should  be  three  groupings  of  numbers  and/or  letters  separated  by  hyphens.    For  example:  1A2B-­‐3C4D-­‐5E6F  6.  Once  you  have  entered  the  code  click  on  the  blue  button  that  says  “Continue”  7.  If  you  receive  an  error  message     1.  Double  check  that  you  entered  the  code  correctly     2.  Email  your  child’s  teacher  for  guidance  (please  keep  in  mind  that  he/she  may  need  to  contact  technical  support  in  order  to  answer  your  question)  

 

8.  In  the  new  window  that  opens,  fill  in  all  appropriate  fields.    It  is  best  to  use  an  actual  email  address  as  you  will  use  this  to  log  in  to  the  site  (or  phone  app)  in  the  future)  9.  Once  you  have  entered  in  all  necessary  information  fields,  click  on  the  blue  button  that  says  “Register”,  and  you  should  be  taken  to  the  your  Schoology  homepage.
