He serves as Market President and Publisher of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Rubinger was previously president of Rubinger Inc., a corporate communications firm he founded in 2008. Also, he was vice president of global communications for Equifax, and senior vice president and director of media relations for Ketchum public relations. In this role, David was responsible for all media relations and media training programs for Ketchum Atlanta. Rubinger began his career in Atlanta with Atlanta Business Chronicle in 1989 to cover banking, invest- ment, and real estate industries. He later served as managing editor/editor of the Chronicle until late 1998. He began his career as a staff editor for McGraw-Hill News in New York. Rubinger received his BA in government from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. He is a member of Leader- ship Atlanta and the Emory University Board of Visi- tors. He is past chairman of ClearPoint Credit Coun- seling Solutions, and serves on the board of Temple Sinai and previously on the Davis Academy and the American Jewish Committee. He lives in Sandy Springs with his wife Hedy and their four children. While building Stratford Research into one of the leading broadcast consulting firms, he wrote The Fran- chise – Building Radio Brands, one of the NABs all- time best-selling books and served as the definitive text on competition and strategy for radio broadcasters. In 1997, Dickey launched Cumulus Media and over two decades, Dickey built Cumulus into the nations 2nd largest radio company through over 150 acquisitions growing it to 460 stations in 90 markets, and the coun- try's largest radio network, Westwood One which to- gether had $1.2b in revenue and 6500 employees. After 16 years at the helm, Dickey now serves as Vice Chair- man of the Board. Dickey is also co-founder/Chairman of Modern Luxury, the countrys largest regional magazine company with 68 magazines in the top 20 luxury markets. Dickey holds an A.B. and M.A. in English Literature from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Dickey has won the E&Y Entrepre- neur of the Year for the Southeast, Radio Executive of the Year by Radio Ink Magazine, and Broadcasting CEO of the Year by Institutional Investor Magazine.
