    Hints and tips

    Keep the sensors clean Ensure adequate flow (25 litres/min at study site)

    Filter particles > 3.5mm via a strainer/basket

    Routine Maintenance Check basket every week

    Aim to clean the basket every 2/3 weeks (some sites may

    require a larger strainer/basket

    Clean the sonde head and sensors every 3-6 months (site

    specific)

    A drop in flow can be used as an indication that cleaning of

    the basket is required
