NOTICE Participating in Po Leung Kuk Child Sponsorship Programme

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Please be informed that in order to nurture our students to concern about the society and to perpetuate

the spirit of love and share with others, we have participated in Po Leung Kuk Child Sponsorship Programme

since 2012. The plan is used to help students understand that child sponsorship is an ideal and personal way

for them to make a difference in the life of a child. It is also used to encourage our students’ friendships with

others across race, ethnicity, class and religion. Since your support is vital to the success of this programme,

please read the following details and return the reply slip and the charity fund (if any) to the class teacher on

or before 7th

March, 2018 (Wednesday). Aims : 1. Help students learn to concern about others.

2. Show support to Po Leung Kuk children and family welfare service.

3. Help children of Po Leung Kuk in life-long learning and whole person

development.

Number of

Children being

sponsored

: Two allocated children assigned to our school last year.

Sponsorship fee : Child Sponsorship: HK$1,200 per annum per child

Charity Fund to be Raised: HK$2,400 (annum fee for 2 children)

Process : 1. A fund raising activity will be held on within the school campus in order to

allow our students to understand the meaning of child sponsorship.

2. All funds raised will be donated to Po Leung Kuk in life-long learning and

whole person development.

3. If the fund raised cannot meet the target amount of HK$2,400, the shortfall will

be contributed by our Parent Teacher Association.

Ways of Donation : 1. Fill in the reply slip, return the reply slip and donation (cash or cheque) to the

class teacher.

Cheque (Payable to “The IMC of Yuen Long Long Ping Estate Tung Koon

Primary School”)

Please write the student’s name, class and contact telephone number on the

back of the cheque.

2. Students may drop their money into the donation box which will be placed in

the school campus. Parents and Teachers Association will assist in the

collection of donation fund.
