Registration – Step 1. Check team details outside the Registration Hall. Check if names are correct & who is A, B, C or D. Check that the team enters the correct category

. Fill in & Sign the Disclaimer and bring it to the SP (will be sent to leaders before the event in early Nov)

. Collect the Disclaimer at the counter if you don’t have a copy

. Collect and fill in the Change of Team Member Form if necessary

Registration – Step 2

• For both Disclaimer and Change of Member Form, ensure names match correctly with A (the leader), B, C, D

Registration – Step 3. Collect Walkers’ bag (outside the hall)> number cloth, barcode bracelets, energy food redemption coupon

1. If necessary, hand in the completed Change of Team Member Form and pay $200 in cash for every member changed

2. Return the signedDisclaimer/Indemnity

3. Have your barcodescanned at the endof the registration table

CP2 -- Pak Tam Au

CP2 -- Pak Tam Au

Route: between the barrier at Pak Tam Chung and CP2 (Pak Tam Au)

Time: From noon to 10pm on Friday (20 Nov)

Free Shuttle Bus Service(to CP2)

CP3 -- Kei Ling HaLoading/ Unloading/ Parking is NOT allowed around the

entrance of the checkpoint

Check Point 3 -- Kei Ling Ha

CP4 -- Gilwell Campsite

CP5 -- Beacon Hill

CP6 - Smugglers Ridge Rifle Range

NO vehicles are allowed to enter CP6. Loading, unloading and parking is also prohibited within 100m of the CP.Walkers must use footbridge to cross Tai Po Road

CP7 -- Lead Mine Pass

Part of the MacLehose was changed by AFCD

• From M153 to CP8

• We will follow the OLD trail along Tai Mo Shan Road = no change for event trail

CP8 -- Tai Mo Shan

CP8 - Support Team Car Park

Support vehicle MUST have CP8 parking permit

For private car/ light goods vehicle only

CP9 - Tai Lam Chung Reservoir

• Closing time: 10:00 am(1 hour earlier)

Final 6km to New Finish

In total, about 2km longer than the old route

Speed record will be re-set from OTW 2009

Exit of CP9 (no short cut is allowed)

Withdrawal during the walk• Must report your withdrawal to the organiser

• If two members of a team have withdrawn, the other two members will not be allowed to continue until they have joined up with another team

** Once withdrawal is registered, no re-entry is accepted

Route:Run between the Finish Point and MTR Yuen Long Station. The bus schedule will be displayed at the Finish Point.

Leaving by Taxi/ Support team’s cars

• Walk 70 steps upstairs to support team car park/ taxi station/

Car Park for Support Teams• Each team is entitled

ONE parking permit (will post to team leader in early Nov)

• Only Private cars are allowed to enter

• All cars can only enter the car park ONCE

• Places are very limited

• Pay attention to the mini buses & cyclists passing and stopping near the entrance
