TRAINING METHODS IN FRANCE

The French higher education system offers 2 training methods:

- Full-time education: theoretical training course in universities or schools

- Apprenticeship: a training course combining both theoretical and practical elements, where the student alternates a period in school with a period in a company.

Apprenticeship makes the connection between the school system and the working world. The apprentice works for an employer and is remunerated from €364,38 to €1136,87.

Legally, apprenticeship is a specific employment contract between a Training Center for Apprentices and a company preparing to a State degree.
