Fr Prem’s message: I say thank you to Fr Martin Flatman for holding fort during the summer; cele-
brating the weekend masses for us. I am sure we were blessed to have his services. May I say a big thank you to the Dominican sisters, the sacristans, parish secretary and all others for keeping things going smoothly during the summer. Thank you very much for your support and understanding. As matters of business, our representative to the CTK Katharine Eustace has stepped down after a very productive service. I cannot thank her enough for accepting my request to represent the parish and for her faithful service supporting the CTK activity and promoting our presence in it. I thank Sean Calnan for stepping-in to fill this vacancy and I am very happy to appoint him together with Marika Dimech as our representatives to the CTK. I am sure you would extend your fullest support to them as we support the CTK activity. I trust, together with them all of us would do our very best to invite the CTK to our parish activity and programmes too and so share our faith with them as we would do with theirs. Refreshed after the summer break, I would invite the whole parish to engage ourselves in the parish mission which will lead up to the City-Wide Mission in Oxford. Our prayers and focus would be upon this mission and I trust you would extend your fullest support. Please see the caption below.
Parish Mission - ‘Come & See’, save this date! Next year all the Catholic churches in Oxford are holding a City-Wide Mission. That’s us too! The mission will run from May 25th to July 14th 2020. There is much to prepare, so we need to start now. Na-talie Orefice is the Archdiocesan Advisor for Parish Evangelisation and has kindly agreed to meet us on 24th November ’19 after the 11am mass followed by a finger lunch. If you are a volunteer or do any kind of ministry in the parish (from cleaners to catechists) or even otherwise you are all formally requested to come.

BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES—SACRAMENTS By appointment with Fr Prem. Please make sure you attend the parish regularly to ask for Sac-raments, making it purposeful and meaningful to oneself, to the community and for the future generations. It liberates us from superstition or simply a collective act—both sinful, and it re-deems the celebrant from making a mockery and a living out of simply dispensing sacraments.
Kindly make sure you are registered with the parish when you ask for sacraments.
