In a cleanroom it is often necessary to conduct particle measurements in inaccessible locations. For this task large unitsare not portable enough and floor mounted sensors are used for permanent monitoring of the cleanroom at particularplaces and can’t be applied flexibly. With the two-channel-laser-particle counter Met One Model 227 A + B an establis-hed handy and flexible particle counter with a rechargeable battery is available. This unit can take quick and uncompli-cated particle measurements in places that are not easily accessible.

The light and very ergonomic model HH3016 / HH5016 is equipped with the latest laser and optics technologies. Thisleads to a high availability and long life expectancy for the equipment. The model HH3016 /HH5016 shows 6 particlesize channels at the same time (Model 3016 from 0.3 µm / model 5016 from 0.5 µm) and presents the particle datacumulatively as well as differentially. The values for relative humidity and temperature are also displayed on the easilyreadable 9.25 cm touch screen display. The exchangeable rechargeable Li-ion battery makes sure that the equipment is permanently available. The rechargeable battery can be replaced quickly and simply without any effort.

The particle counter Solair 3100/5100 uses the latest technologies in optics andelectronics for a long, reliable operation.

It has a detection limit of 0.3 µm (0.5 µm) with a sample air volume of 1.0 ft3/ min(28.3 l /min) and a dynamic range of up to > 10 µm.

Because of the data input directly at the 14.5 cm large colour touch screen theSolar 3100/5100 is easy to use and to configure.

Up to 3000 measurement data from 6 particle size channels and up to 4 analoguesensors are detected. All data can be either reliably and quickly transferred onto aPC or printed with a thermal printer.

The Solar 3100/5100 can be used either as a single machine, in connection withmonitoring systems or as measuring network manifold.

Fogging machine to visualize the air streamin cleanrooms and process equipment To prove the functioning of cleanrooms and clean work places it is essential tovisualise the streaming ratio in detail.For the production of “cleanroom appropriate” fog two machines with differentfunctionality are available. With these machines air streaming can be easily visuali-sed for the total height of the room and for a distance of at least 3 m. On theother hand air streaming in smallest areas of production equipment (for exampledead water- or pooling region) can be made visual.

The N2-fog generator makes the visualisation of laminar air flow in laminar as wellas in turbulent streamed regions possible. With the N2-fog generator liquid coldgas and water vapour is used for the fog production. dastex offers a simple but compact nebulisation system to disinfect a clean-room fast and easy with a Klercide-CR-Biocide. No main supply is necessary as a compressed air supply with a filter of 0.2 µm is sufficient. The installationshould be carried out on the ceiling. A room of 100 m3 can be operated byone unit with a maximum fill quantity of 5 litres. To guarantee problem freecleaning and disinfection the spray system has been manufactured from highgrade stainless steel. The outside dimensions are approximately 250 x 230 x508 mm (w x d x h).

The Klercide fogging system can be used together with various biocides fromthe Klercide series (A, B, C, D). The assembly is fast and simple, as only thecanister with the chosen biocide will be placed and connected to the Klercidefogging system.

The pharmaceutical industry places very high demandson the materials which are used in manufacturingareas. With the support of the pharmaceutical industryexperiments have been conducted for the productionof corrosion free tools made from various materialsand their behaviour before and after autoclaving.Based on analyses of surface effects from the GermanAssociation for Materials Research and Testing Stuttgart,the production of corrosion free tools was made possi-ble using up to date production – and complimentingsurface treatment methods.

CCI cleanroom tools are very easy to clean and fulfilthe demands of current tool manufacturing standards.Another important point is the resistance against disin-fection products in all forms, base, H2O2 and mostacids. This product is completed with a tool box, which simpli-fies the sterilisation process, as the tools do not haveto be taken out of the box or be autoclaved one byone. The configuration of the tool box can be adaptedindividually on the tool assembly.
