• Norwegian Contractor’s Association (EBA) is Coordinator.• FIEC, UNIEP and GCI-UICP do ensure that the requirements of the

constructions sector are highly focused and represents an important and highly effective vehicle for dissemination of the results from this project.

ChemXchange – overall results

The ultimate improvements of our proposed system compared to today’s existing tools include:

• One, complete sector-driven and SME adapted solution.

• Compliance with national and European chemical legislation.

• Centralized system management and decentralized use.

• Simplified chemical information distribution.

• Enhanced risk awareness and skills.

• significant reduction in management costs for the SMEs through easier chemical communication procedures.

• ChemXchange will be operated according to the principle that it should be accessed free of charge for small companies. All prices are to be set by a governing group of associations and contractors (steering group). The fees and licences cover the expenses.
