Description:• Members of cataloging Network will manage the shared cataloging of the

Network Zone• Members of a cataloging network will be able to seamless search the network’s

shared catalog • it will be possible to see which members are using this record to describe their

own inventory and to drill down and see the detailed inventory availability for a specific member for a specific record

• It will be possible for staff in any member of the cataloging network to seamlessly edit a shared record, modify it and save it back into the shared catalog managed in the Network Zone

Customer ValueThe booking functionality will enable library patrons to reserve resources in a time framed manner, enabling coordinating availability of resources.

The library will gain better control of short loan and high request rate resources by imposing a booking policy on resources on this type.

Description:The Alma booking functionality will be fully supported, enabling placing and monitoring requests in Alma back-office screens as well as using Primo front end interfaces.

The requesting process, hold shelf management, loan and return workflows will be fully supported and integrated in Alma’s Fulfillment task lists and screens.
