2nd TERM EXAM Television: vocabulary

Modal verbs
o Modals of ability: can, could, be able to
o Modals of advice/necessity/obligation: should, ought to, need/have to, mustBe careful! Must = obligation, BUT:a) mustnt = prohibition b) dont have to = theres no need to do it
o Modals of possibility and certainty: must, may, could, might
o Modals + perfect infinitives: can/could/may/might/must/should + have + past part.
