WHEREAS: The Boca Raton House of Representatives meets Fridays at 3:30pm in the Boca Raton House Chambers, and;

WHEREAS: The Boca Raton House Chambers serves as a permanent location for the Boca Raton House of Representatives to meet, discuss legislation and elect new members to the House of Representatives, and;

WHEREAS: The Student Government Oath of Office is recited by each newly elected member of the House of Representatives, and;

WHEREAS: The Student Government Oath of Office which is recited by newly elected members of the House of Representatives consists of the following: "I do hereby affirm to uphold the office of House of Representatives, and to abide by the Constitution of the Student Government of Florida Atlantic University, the Statutes incorporated thereto, and to strive for the betterment of the Student Body through which I was elected.", and;

WHEREAS: Due to the inflow of new members to the House of Representatives a permanent display of the Student Government Oath of Office is necessary, NOW;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Boca Raton House of Representatives allocates $610.00 from the House contingency account (S20012) for the purchase of a 5’ by 3.5’ sign displaying the Student Government Oath of Office from the attached vendor which will be hung in the Boca Raton House Chambers
